British American Engines: Engines for American Trucks
We specialise in supplying new engines / or providing engine power upgrades for American trucks / vehicles. Should you prefer the latter, we upgrade the power of existing engine by rebuilding from the block upwards. We do not provide top end rebuilds, as this relies on the bottom end of the engine being correct for the additional load and can lead to engine failure.
We can arrange for palletised / insured collection of your engine, which will be inspected and fully rebuilt, before being returned on a secure pallet to your premises. Your engine can either be rebuilt to it’s stock horsepower or we can cater to bespoke horsepower requirements.
American Truck Conversion Kits
To compliment our turn key engines we also provide comprehensive kits for those wishing to convert their trucks from a straight four or six cylinder engine to a V8 engine. Our kits include, thick core alloy radiators, engine conversion mounts, exhaust manifolds, header tanks, cooling fans, fuel pumps, fuel line / filters, power steering kits, cooling fans and temperature control units.
