Ultimate 383 Stroker engine built for Lola Sports Cars Ltd
Lola Sportscars Ltd recently purchased one of our 383 stroker Ultimate Chevys for a new Lola T70 historic racing series in Japan.
The engine needed to be powerful and tough enough to endure track racing conditions, and so the Street Torker engine was commissioned from our Ultimate range.
But this being a historic racing series, the engine required a set of downdraft Webbers in order to be correct for the period. We had a lot of fun testing this engine and it promises to be a monster both on and off the track - perfect for high performance cars such as the Ultima & T70.

427 Ford 'Signature Series': a beast unleashed
British American Engines first Open Day a great success
On Saturday 4th June, British American Engines and their engine building partners Custom Power & Paint held their first official open day, to mark the debut of their new 427 stroker engine.
Designed to give the legendary 427 (7.0 Litre) cubic inches that all Cobra fans crave, this engine gives greater performance than a 427 FE side oiler, but with the size and weight advantages of a Ford small block.
Known as our Signature Engine, with its custom 427 rocker covers this engine is at the top of BAE's street engine range. |

We run smaller-scale open days every Saturday, where we show the previous weeks' engine build being test run for the customer and prospective customers.
But this was our first to both customers, manufacturers, Cobra Club members and the media. The new owner of the our Signature 427 was delighted with his engine and certainly enjoyed the appreciative comments from those around him. |
