BAD Daytonas wins major show
British American Daytonas took Best in Show at the prestigious National Kit & Performance Show 2004, against strong competition.
The B.A.D 01 appeared at the Donington kit car show and was welcomed with much praise and great public feedback.
The President of our American suppliers was present for the weekend, and was deeply impressed with our work on the car, the show, and the UK kit car industry as a whole.
Exeter Show
Our next appearance was made at the Exeter show where we had a superb weekend meeting members of the Cobra Owners Club and industry players who confirmed that we have a desirable product.
001 Ready to Roll ... SVA time
001 attended its SVA at Southampton in October, and with fingers crossed we awaited the verdict. The SVA guys were great and loved the car and only came up with very minor fails. Our associate build company American Speed Services is rectifying these at the moment.
What's Next
There'll be a full-on tarmac assault with a test/customer day lined up at an airfield, Guildford cruise and Ace Cafe evenings. We'll also be attending the Southern meetings of the Cobra Owners Club.
